Magis – Maaginen Seikkailu game privacy policy

The Magis – Maaginen Seikkailu app (referred later as“Game”, “App” or “Service”) is developed by Finnish Association for Mental Health in cooperation with Jyväskylä University and City of Vaasa. This App is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. The Game has been created for children between the ages of 7 and 15. Magis – Maaginen Seikkailu is an educational game designed to improve psychological well-being in a school environment.

This policy (hereafter “Policy”) is used to inform the users of the App and any interested parties regarding our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.

By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in the way set forth in this Policy and any referred policies.

Information Collection and Use

We do not collect any personally identifiable information; the only information the Users provide us by using the App is information used for the progress of the App (save game), which is not collected or stored by us.

While we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information, the App does use third-party services that may collect such information.

These third-party services include, but are not limited to, Apple’s App Store and the Google’s Google Play and Unity (hereafter referred to as “third-party services”). These third-party services adhere to their own privacy policies, to which we refer below.

The App is built using Unity, which is a game engine platform used to build and develop the App. As with the (other) third-party services, Unity adheres to its own privacy policy and may therefore collect and store personally identifiable information.

The App is distributed by App Store and Google Play, and their policies may apply.

Security

As the App is intended for use by Children, it is of the utmost importance to us that any stored information is secure and not personally identifiable. To ensure the security of the Users, we do not store or collect any personally identifiable information. Any information regarding the progress of the App is stored locally on the personal devices of the Users.

In the case of any security concerns arising within the third-party service providers, these concerns must be handled directly with them (see below for procedures).

Children’s Privacy

This Children’s Privacy Policy sets forth the way we collect information provided by children under the age of 13 (“child” or “children”), how we disclose it as well as the parental consent practices and uses terms that are defined in our Privacy Policy. This Policy has been created in accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). For more information about COPPA please visit OnGuard Online.

Please be sure to read this Privacy Policy for Children with your parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) (collectively referred to as “parents”) and ask them questions about what you do not understand.

We do not collect any personal information from Children, therefore we do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in using our App, nor do we disclose information to third-parties.

As the App does not collect nor make use of any personally identifiable information, any concerns regarding the review, collection or use of the Children’s personal information must be directed towards the third-party service providers through the following procedures set out below:

• Does not collect any personally identifiable information.
• Does use third-party services that may collect some personal information (including but not limited to: log data, Android device ID, advertising ID). 
• Does not integrate with social networks.
• Does use third-party services that may use analytics to track usage and crash information.  

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
